Profile:
• Ability to discuss concepts of IP Addressing, Routing, Switching and Unified Communication.
• Experienced on Network Convergence/Transformation projects involving integration of Voice, Video and Unified Messaging Services with the Core Data Network.
• Understanding of services offered by different types of Network Service Providers (NSPs).
• Ability to configure and discuss Routing and Switching technologies, MPLS , Network Security, Data Center networks – firewalls, VPN, load balancers, WAAS/ WAFS etc
• Ability to configure Cisco (and other vendor) devices.
• Ability to design and deploy High Availability Networks.
• Ability to assist with Product Selections from requirements and cost perspective.
• Work with the team in Network planning, design, build, test and deployment activities for Network Transformation projects
• Sketch HLD/LLDs for Enterprise networks based on inputs from Client and SMEs
• Develop equipment specifications and configurations and design documentation.
• Assist with network testing (proof-of-concept or network validation).
• Occasionally assist with internal network technology initiatives.
• Work with significant direction from immediate supervisor.
